THE STUDENTS

HORTI E.P PRIMARY SCHOOL

HORTI is a small community along the Akatsi-Xavi road. The main thing the villages can boast of is a Primary school (K. G 1 - Class 6) which was established by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (E. P) in 1946. The school is situated at Dzamesikope at the heart of the Horti community. The major occupation in Horti is farming. Roughly about 142 students, 62 boys and 76 girls.

Most Learners in Horti E. P Primary school are from poor background which leads to absenteeism and truancy.

Which is why we are choosing to work with these learners as the first school of outreach in the Volta Region of Ghana.
